Collage Mania is a Fiberart For A Cause fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.  We have already donated over $170,000 to the ACS.  Our goal is to raise at least $20,000 during the three days of Collage Mania.

An $80 minimum donation is required May 5 and $40 required on May 6 and 7.  Of course since this is a fundraiser, patrons are encouraged to donate a bit more if they are able.

Thanks go to the 161 artists from around the world who have donated the artwork to make Collage Mania 2009 possible.  Donations for artwork are given directly to the American Cancer Society through Fiberart For A Cause. Donors receive an immediate electronic receipt from the ACS.

This is Fiberart For A Cause’s last big fundraiser.  Our goal is to raise at least $20,000.  We have already donated over $170,000 to the American Cancer Society.

With 384 collages to choose from, it is hard to choose just a few to showcase.  But never fear!  Collage Mania Preview opens Wednesday, April 29 with all of the collages available for you to study.  Karen Stiehl Osborn has set up the pages with ten collages per page; just the right number to load quickly.

You will have plenty of time to make your shopping list, read over the directions, and ask any questions you may have before Collage Mania opens on May 5.  All collages will be available May 5 for a minimum $80 donation.  On May 6 and 7, $40 is the minimum donation.  If you are able, please consider donating a bit more since this is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

It’s easy to participate in Collage Mania 2009; adding to your art collection while donating to the American Cancer Society.  But, of course, there are nuances and so please take the time to read the patron directions before May 5.

This Wednesday, April 1, is the deadline for receipt of jpegs for Collage Mania.

Collage Mania is an all-volunteer effort to raise at least $20,000 for the American Cancer Society in just three days, May 5-7.

In brief, the collages must contain some fiber and be finished or mounted to 8×10 inches. Do read the call carefully before submitting your jpegs.

It’s not too late to participate, but do remember we always choose QUALITY over quantity for Collage Mania.
