What’s next for Fiberart For A Cause?

Lynn Krawczyk curates Breaking Traditions, an art quilt exhibit, each year. This year’s theme is With One Voice and the only entry fee is a $10 donation to the American Cancer Society through Fiberart For A Cause.

The theme offers many possibilities for your artwork:

“This year we will give a voice to all the good that is present in the world. From the next door neighbor who helped to shovel your snowy walk, to organizations built solely on the purpose of serving those in need, to famous individuals using their influence to do good. We honor all those who stand up and say, in one loud clear voice, ‘I will make a difference.’”

The deadline for receipt of the 12″ x 12″ art quilts is August 30, 2008. There are early-bird incentives and lots of other prizes. Lynn is also working to make this a traveling exhibition, do contact her if you know of possible venues.

I love wearing my With One Voice T-shirt. Many styles of shirts with the very cool With One Voice logo designed by Lynn are available from the FFAC Shop. All profits from the FFAC Shop are also donated to the ACS through FFAC.
