Opening Reception of Boundary Waters
What a delightful opening it was! So many friends made the long drive to Norfolk to share the opening with me. The two hours went by in what seemed to be two minutes.
The Norfolk Art Center Executive Director, Kara, and the Assistant Director, Christopher, did a great job of hanging the show and their Guild provided a beautiful buffet of refreshments.
I also met the art-enthusiastic Monty and Katie Wilson, generous sponsors of my show.
To everyone who made the day so very special, very fun and very memorable, I send my sincere thanks.

Linda - I don’t have any plans to travel the show at this moment as I am still working on the series. But I do plan on posting a complete gallery of the current show on my website sometime in July after the artwork returns home.
Julaine - Good to hear from you! It was the best kind of opening - a big party!
Take care and thank you both for writing, Virginia

Jenn - Thank you! Good luck on your finals, even though you don’t need it, and see you soon at Family Reunion. LY, G. (Well, now the secret is out that I don’t go by Virginia with family. This is my niece and partner-in-crime for the postcards on which the Correspondence series is based. Her Dad recently acquired True Stories #3).
