The Opening Reception for my solo show, Boundary Waters, is this Saturday, May 5, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m at the Norfolk Arts Center, Norfolk, Nebraska. The show is open now and run until June 29.
Ten notebooks stuffed full of notes, sketches, poetry and photographs from my journeys in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) inspired this series of textile constructions focusing on water, tree, rock and sky.
Support for the production of this new artwork was generously provided by a residency at the Great Expectations Creativity Center.
It is always surprising and exciting to see new artwork in a gallery setting. I hope to see many of you on Saturday to help celebrate the day.
