Whew! Just finished sewing the sleeve on this work. It is 105″ long, so I am thrilled to have that done. This piece was inspired by the “Mother Trees” in the Boundary Waters. They are fallen logs, full of knot holes, slowly rotting away and providing a good environment for new trees to sprout and grow.
