Inspiration Tuesday and The Garbage Day Project is back!
I do have a thing about milkweeds. I took this photo just last week. The seeds are attached to silken threads that spill out of the pod like a waterfall. I’ve never seen seeds at this stage so late in the year. The next day we had thirty MPH winds and all the seeds were dispersed. They probably landed in Tennessee.
The Garbage Day Project resumes after a short winter hiatus due to darkness and I’m having a little The Garbage Day Project festival of sorts to celebrate. Check out the new logo, Amazing Things A Garbage Truck Can Crush, new Garbage Art and lots of other interesting things in the world of garbage, art and recycling.

Were we separated at birth? I have a thing about milkweed, too. My favorite fall activity is to walk in the prairie, find milkweed pods, and set the seeds free into the world–love them flying across that blue midwestern autumn sky.
And I like your tube of bits…can I steal that idea for my own use at home? Now to find the proper tube…

Thank you, Lynne. It’s fun to be back on the garbage trail.
Bj - We’re Midwesterners. Of course we love milkweed. Go ahead and make your own variation of Blue Tube and then send a photo my way. V.
