Call for artists - Art quilt exhibit to benefit FFAC and American Cancer Society
“With One Voice” is the theme of this year’s Breaking Traditions art quilt exhibit to be held September 26-28. According to curator Lynn Krawczyk,
“This year we will give a voice to all the good that is present in the world. From the next door neighbor who helped to shovel your snowy walk, to organizations built solely on the purpose of serving those in need, to famous individuals using their influence to do good. We honor all those who stand up with say, in one loud clear voice, “I will make a difference.”
In keeping with the theme, Lynn has decided to support Fiberart For A Cause by asking participants to make their $10 entry fee out to the American Cancer Society.
There are numerous prizes to be given away in random drawings, 10 postcards made by me for the first ten artists to send in their art quilt, and a great prize package for the art quilt chosen as the Exhibit Favorite.
You can read all the details on Lynn’s website.
