It's personal, of course. My Dad is a colon cancer survivor and a family friend has fought the good fight twice against brain cancer and won.

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's largest fundraiser. The Relay For Life event began with Dr. Gordon Klatt, a colo-rectal surgeon, who ran and walked around a track for 24 hours, raising about $27,000 for the American Cancer Society in honor of his patients.

The American Cancer Society has been repeatedly and consistently in the top ten Good Stewards identified by charity watchgroups.
