Artist-in-Residence at
the Great Expectations Creativity Center
La Grange, TX
January 9 - February 5, 2007

My heartfelt thanks to Karey Bresenhan and the entire Quilts, Inc. family
for making possible this opportunity for professional growth
in such an inspirational setting.

The resulting series, Boundary Waters.



Materials for creative exploration were generously provided by
Esterita Austin and Iris Karp (Misty-Fuse) and Superior Threads

At the Creativity Center: 100 yards of 60" Kona PFD white cotton were painted. Further surface design was added with screen printing and Shiva paint sticks
Then operations were moved to my Artist-in-Residence Studio (behind the two sets of French doors)
	Artwork for my upcoming show "Boundary Waters" was unveiled at the Open Studio weekend. More than twenty artworks were begun in this spacious studio.
