Art Quilt Exhibit to Benefit American Cancer Society

Breaking Traditions focuses on "all the good that is present in the world."

With much of the news focusing on what's not right in the world, curator Lynn Krawczyk decided to focus the 2008 Breaking Traditions art quilt exhibit on "... giving a voice to all the good that is present in the world. From the next door neighbor who helped shovel your snowy walk, to organizations built solely on the purpose of serving those in need, to famous individuals using their influence to do good. We honor all those who stand up and say, in one loud clear voice, 'I will make a difference.'"

In keeping with the theme, Breaking Traditions: With One Voice will benefit the American Cancer Society through Fiberart For A Cause. The only entry fee to the exhibit will be a $10 donation to the American Cancer Society.

Breaking Traditions: With One Voice will be held September 26- 28, 2008 at the American Sewing Expo in Novi, Michigan.
