The Perfect Gift for Yourself or a Fiber Friend
My new book evolved by thinking about the kind of book I love, but can never find.
I love art books that tell me about an artist's inspiration and influences while showing me what's beautiful and significant in her creative life.
Wild at the Edges is woven from the intertwined threads of writing, photography, adventuring, and making art.

25% of all profits from this book will be donated to the American Cancer Society through Fiberart For A Cause.

Making a New Tradition
When I saw this 7' metal tree with birds by Bill and Betty Jonas, I knew I had found the perfect re-usable holiday tree. I have always had a fresh-cut pine tree to decorate, but I know I will love looking at this tree year-round as the shadows it casts are fantastic. Now maybe for some lights and handmade ornaments.

In lieu of sending holiday cards this year, I am making a donation in fond memory of my studio buddy, Mr. Pouncer, to a no-kill humane society in Wisconsin.
BUT my wishes are no less heartful for each of you to experience a New Year filled with creativity, peace, and happiness.
Warm regards,
V.
